I support the effort to establish the Northern Angeles Forest National Monument to permanently protect the 240,000 acres of  federal public lands in northern Los Angeles County. I support this proposal because it will:

​

• Protect the sacred places of theTataviam and Chumash Peoples along with historic features like the Ridge Route, the Pacific Crest Trail, and St. Francis Dam. 

• Protect the Santa Clara Watershed that produces drinking water for our communities

• Attract additional resources for rangers, campsites, picnic areas and restrooms 

• Safeguard crucial wildlife habitat and migration corridors.
